Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account data: your name, email address and a hashed password (we never store your password in readable form).
• Content you provide: text prompts, reference images, and any videos, images or audio you upload, plus the projects, captions, voice-overs and exports you create in the editor.
• Payment data: purchases are processed by Stripe. We receive limited billing information (such as customer and subscription identifiers, plan, and credit balance) but never your full card number.
• Usage and technical data: pages visited, feature usage, device and browser type, and your IP address, from which we derive an approximate country and continent for security, abuse prevention and analytics.
• Marketing attribution: the campaign or referrer that brought you to LaunchReel, kept in your browser storage.
• Emails we send: transactional messages (such as verification) and, if you have an account, occasional product emails; each has an unsubscribe option where required.

2. How we use it

• To provide the service: generate, store, edit, caption, voice over and export your videos.
• To process payments, apply credits and prevent fraud or abuse.
• To keep the service reliable and secure, and to understand how it is used so we can improve it.
• To communicate with you about your account, purchases, support requests and product updates.
• To measure and improve our own advertising (see "Cookies and similar technologies").

3. Who else processes your data

We share data only with providers that help us run LaunchReel, and only what they need:

• Google (Gemini / Veo): your prompts and reference images are sent to generate AI video.
• OpenAI: prompts are checked by a moderation model, and text such as ad copy or video titles may be generated from your video details.
• Stripe: payment processing and subscription billing.
• Twilio SendGrid: delivery of our emails.
• Datadog: performance monitoring, error logging and product analytics.
• Meta (Facebook / Instagram): the Meta Pixel measures the effectiveness of our ads.
• Our hosting and infrastructure providers, who store data on our behalf.

4. What we process on our own servers

Automatic subtitles (speech recognition) and text-to-voice generation run on our own infrastructure rather than being sent to a separate AI provider. Video editing and exporting happen in your browser; the finished export is uploaded to your account so you can download it again later.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as language and editor settings. We use Datadog for analytics and diagnostics, and the Meta Pixel for advertising measurement. You can block or clear these through your browser settings or extensions; parts of the service (such as staying signed in) may stop working if you do.

6. YouTube API Services

Authorized LaunchReel administrators can publish LaunchReel's own marketing and demo videos to LaunchReel's YouTube channel using YouTube API Services. This uses a stored authorization for LaunchReel's own channel; it does not access, collect or store YouTube or Google account data belonging to our customers.

YouTube API Services are subject to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms) and the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

7. Retention and deletion

We keep your account and content while your account is active. You can delete your videos from your dashboard at any time. To delete your account and associated data, email us and we will do so within a reasonable time, keeping only what we must retain for legal, tax, fraud-prevention or accounting purposes.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK, the LGPD in Brazil, or the CCPA in California) you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact hi@launchreel.pro. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. International transfers

LaunchReel and our providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

10. Security

We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted connections, hashed passwords and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

LaunchReel is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest revision; material changes will be highlighted on the site or by email.
