Terms of Service

1. The service

LaunchReel lets you generate short videos with AI from a text description, upload your own videos, and edit, caption, voice over and export them. Features, limits and pricing may change over time.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your login secure, and be responsible for activity on your account. You must be legally able to enter into a contract, and you must be at least 16 years old.

3. Credits, plans and payment

• Generating video consumes credits; the cost is shown before you generate. Credits are bought with one-time purchases or included in a subscription plan.
• Payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew until you cancel; taxes may apply.
• If a generation fails or is rejected, the credits for it are returned automatically. For any other billing question or issue, contact us and we will review it case by case.
• A first free video may be offered to new users; it may be limited or withdrawn to prevent abuse.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the prompts, images, videos and audio you provide and of the videos you create with LaunchReel, as between you and us. You give us a limited licence to host, process and transmit that content (including to our AI and infrastructure providers) only as needed to operate and improve the service for you.

You are responsible for your content and for having the rights and permissions needed to use it, including consent from any identifiable person who appears in it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use LaunchReel to create, upload or share content that:

• is illegal, infringes intellectual property or privacy rights, or is defamatory or harassing;
• is sexual content involving minors, or is sexually explicit, violent or hateful in violation of our providers' policies;
• misleads people about who is speaking or what happened (for example deceptive impersonation or deepfakes of real people without their consent);
• is spam, malware or fraud.
• You also agree not to attempt to overload, reverse engineer or bypass the limits and protections of the service.

6. AI output

AI-generated videos and text can be inaccurate, unexpected or similar to output produced for others. You are responsible for reviewing what you publish and for complying with the rules of the platforms where you use it. Prompts and outputs may be checked automatically for policy violations.

7. Third-party services

LaunchReel relies on third parties such as Google, OpenAI and Stripe. Their availability and terms can affect the service, and we are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep LaunchReel available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may change or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms; continued use after a change means you accept it.

9. Suspension and termination

You can stop using LaunchReel at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or puts the service or others at risk.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, LaunchReel is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the LaunchReel operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
